Sebamalai House of Compassion Orphanage

This past winter Harbor Seafood and DSA team members had the opportunity to visit the Sebamalai House of Compassion Orphanage in Mananr, Sri Lanka. The Sebamali House is run by dedicated staff and is home to several young girls who have lost their families due to a recent civil war. During our visit, the Harbor Seafood and DSA team members were given a tour of the facilities to truly understand and connect with the members of this orphanage. After viewing the grounds, getting to know the women of Sebamalai House of Compassion Orphanage, and seeing the learning their needs of basic accommodations, the Harbor Seafood and DSA team knew they wanted to lend a helping hand.
Starting this fall Harbor Seafood and DSA will be working hard to help repair and renovate the facility, upgrade basic amenities and add a water pump. We look forward to breaking ground on this project and continuing our efforts not only in Sri Lanka, but all of our local communities.
