In February 2023, Harbor Seafood entered into a partnership with R&A Oyster Co. Harbor Seafood will bring almost 50 years of relationship-based sales and marketing experience to R&A’s frozen Oyster line. R&A will continue to produce and process their renowned, top-quality products.

R & A Oyster Co. is family-owned company with over 30 years of experience in the oyster industry. Their 40,000 square foot, state-of-the-art processing plant in Alabama produces a range of the finest quality oyster products from only the freshest Gulf Coast oysters. Harvested for quality, they hold their oysters to the highest standards achievable.

At R & A Oyster Co., they sell over 500,000 oysters per week, offering a range of packaged oyster products, each suited for a different type of serving and food preparation use. Their mission is to supply their customers with the finest oysters in the Gulf, precisely as needed. They don’t take away the character; saltwater is always included. Their Gulf Coast oysters are prepared year-round in a variety of package offerings: Whole Fresh Oysters, Picked Gallons, Banded Oysters and Instant Quick Freeze.
