Slipper Lobster Tempura

  • 1/2 bag of Slipper Lobster Tail
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 can seltzer
  • A pinch of salt
  • A pinch of pepper


Thaw slipper lobster according to package instructions. To make the batter, whisk the egg and seltzer, then add the flour, salt and pepper. Stir, then add slipper lobster pieces, coating them generously. Fry a few at a time using a deep frier or a pan on the stove until lobster is light golden brown and crispy. Plate and serve with your favorite sauce.
